COWICHAN: Successful Student Learning Initiative: Reporting Back - What does student learning look like for you?
Join us for breakfast and hear what VIU had to say in response to the question:
"What does student learning look like for you?"
Throughout the 2014-15 academic year, VIU engaged in an initiative to create a portrait of student learning as described by the VIU community.
The Successful Student Learning @ VIU project was initiated through the Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic and arose from a desire to more fully support the achievement of the objectives related to student learning, engagement and success identified in both the Academic Plan and the Enrolment Management Plan and more broadly in processes and activities arising from them.
This session is designed to report back to the Cowichan Campus, share the outcomes and next steps of the project and engage campus members in further discussion.
The final report can be viewed at http://learningmatters.viu.ca
Please join Liesel Knaack and Tina McComb for breakfast and an on campus session. Hope to see you there.
Audience Open to all VIU Campus Community Members (including students – so please share and have students email Stephanie.Didsbury@viu.ca to register!)
