Electronic portfolios (eportfolios) form a digital collection of a student's work, reflections, and evidence of development. The creation of eportfolios help to foster digital and social media literacies; content management, curation, and organization practices; and networking practices.  At the same time, these portfolios can also allow students to carve out a place on the web that they truly own.In this session we will share examples of eportfolio initiatives currently happening at VIU and student feedback on those initiatives. We will also explore ways in which instructors might integrate elements of eportfolios into a course. This session is directed at those new to eportfolios, or those wanting to learn more about the basics of using eportfolios in a course.Audience | VIU Campus CommunityDate | Wednesday, March 1Time | 3:00 - 4:00 pmLocation | Nanaimo Campus Building 300, Royal Arbutus RoomRegistration | InVIU Direct LinkQuestions | michael.paskevicius@viu.ca | Learning Technologies Application Developer | Centre for Innovation and Excellence in Learningfalse
