  6. You can choose to complete the quiz and submit it, or use the Exit Preview button on the top right hand corner of the screen.

Quiz Categories

If you have many quizzes, or maybe different types of quizzes, you can use quiz categories to keep them organized. For example, the quizzes in this course are organized to the level and part they belong to.

By default, your quiz view will display quizzes in chronological order according to availablility. To change your view, use the View drop-down menu on the right side of the Manage Quizzes screen to select "Category" and then click Apply.

In the image above, you can see the grey Edit Categories button beside the blue New Quiz button. Selecting Edit Categories will allow you to create a new cateogy, as well as choose the order in which existing categories display. You can add a quiz to category on the quiz Properties tab, directly under where you named the quiz.

Bulk Edit

Bulk Edit allows you to make changes to multiple quizzes at the same time. On the Manage Quizzes screen, use the boxes to the left of the quiz title to select the quizzes you wish to edit, and then click the Edit button at the top or bottom of the page.

From the Bulk Editing Screen you can change the category a quiz is in, change its status from Active to Inactive (or vice versa) and change the number of allowed attempts. You can also make changes to the names of your quizzes from this view. Make sure if you make any changes that you select the blue Save button before navigating away from this screen.

Giving Learners Special Access to a Quiz

Some learners may require extra time to take a quiz due to disability, or may need an extended deadline for the quiz. You as the instructor can give learners the access that they need, without having to create a copy of your quiz. Here are the instructions on how to create special access for learners.
