VIULearn is Vancouver Island University's Learning Management System (LMS) . All academic, trades and online professional development courses are automatically set up with a course space and automated enrollment in VIULearn. As an instructor you can upload content, communicate with students and collect and assess activities within your course space. Whether you are teaching face to face, fully online or blended, VIULearn can serve as a useful repository for important course information and an easy place for students to submit assignments, complete quizzes and keep track of their progress through your course.
Technical and pedagogical support for instructors using VIULearn is available from the Centre for Innovation and Excellence in Learning(CIEL). On this page you will find a number of self help resources and how to guides to help you navigate and create content and activities in VIULearn. The Quiz tool is one of the most complex parts of VIULearn. These resources will help you get started creating questions, putting together quizzes, and providing feedback for students.
